As expected, officials just announced that work on demolition of the northern side of the Mulholland Drive Bridge over the 405 freeway has gone well this weekend. There’s the scene earlier this afternoon as crew work to clean up the roadway. There will be a news conference at 5 p.m. at Camp Carmageddon with an update on construction/demolition progress.

The photo gives you an idea of all the activity still on the freeway surface; a lot of dirt and debris still needs to be cleared from the roadway.
