Taking down a bridge

Here are some photos of the demolition of the Sunset Boulevard bridge over the 405 freeway that began this past weekend. The bridge is being widened and rebuilt as part of the project to add a carpool lane on the northbound 405 between the Santa Monica and Ventura freeways.
