I am from Fresno and never heard of Metroexpresslanes, last time I came through years ago, and it was a pool lane . This time I had 5 persons in the car , and I was thinking it was a pool lane .
During peak hours on the I-10 freeway you can travel the ExpressLanes toll free with 3+ in the car. But ALL vehicles are required to have a FasTrak transponder to use the ExpressLanes. If you use the ExpressLanes without a transponder you risk a violation notice or being cited by the CHP. Please visit the ExpressLanes website for options on how to get a transponder.

Looked on the site to pay , but there is NOTHING indicated as to where to get to, where to enter the card # to pay the bill….$0.85……REALLY ?

If I read the signs correctly there is no charge if a vehicle has 3 or more passengers is this correct? Of you still need a transponder.
