The north side of the bridge is coming down — here’s what it looked like just after 7 a.m. As for traffic, here’s the real-time map from Caltrans at 8:45 a.m. Lot of green is good!

The big equipment moving into place as the clock struck midnight on the 405 with work about to begin on the north side of the Mulholland bridge. It’s Carmageddon time!
